
Collegiate student clubs and organizations include Human Services Student Association, Meriden Club, and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. Club activity levels vary with student interest and new clubs may form as interest warrants.
The purpose of Beta Gamma Xi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at MxCC shall be for the promotion of scholarships, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of the college. Past activities have included: Toy and book drives, financial donation for scholarships, Habitat for Humanity and Memorial contributions.
Students in the HSSA share a common interest in the Human Services profession. They achieve their objective by embracing community social change. HSSA has been involved with Make a Difference Day, toy and food drives, and Christmas in April.
The SPECS Club provides opportunities for students enrolled on the ODD program to expand upon their classroom experience. The work of its members has contributed to the community and various countries by providing eyeglasses.
