Middlesex Community College (MxCC) students recently had the opportunity to share information about the cultures and countries from which they came with other students, faculty and staff, and members of the community during International Day 2007, held at the college. The event allowed MxCC students to set up displays with information about their home countries including posters, food, clothing, and other trinkets.  There were displays from Pakistan, Morocco, Afghanistan, Germany, Togo and Senegal Africa, Turkey, Budapest, China, Columbia, Ecuador, and India.

International Day 2007 was organized by professor May Coryell, who also coordinates the college’s English As A Second Language program.  For more information about this event and the ESL program at MxCC, please contact Coryell at 343-5803.
