Summer 2011 Online and Hybrid Courses, Middlesex Community College, Middletown, CT 06457

Back to MxCC Distance Learning.

June 22, 2011 to August 1, 2011 or August 8, 2011. - Check the completion date of online courses below.

After June 8th, upon registering, students may be able to view online course site with orientation, help information, and some course content. Per the professor, some course material may not be visible until June 22 . We encourage you to go through step-by-step instruction and orientation prior to the start of a semester. The orientation ensures you to test your computer and learn how to use basic features such as course navigation, discussions (bulletin board), mail, assignments (assignment drop boxes), and assessments (online tests). However, unless instructed by your professor, please do not complete any course-related activities or print any documents before June 22; all course information is considered in progress until the first day of courses -June 22 , 2011.

We will post course overview or a course syllabus for the current semester as soon as we receive the file from the course professor. A majority of our online/hybrid courses run every semester or every other semester. If you would like to know detailed information about an online/hybrid course before registering a course, you may go to the course page in a previous semester and review the course syllabus used then.

The course syllabi posted here are for your reference for making a decision on registering an online/hybrid course. The syllabi are subject to change and should NOT be used for completing the online/hybrid courses you have registered. Please log on to your online class in Blackboard Vista for the most updated course syllabus and to participate in your class activities. Contact MxCC bookstore for textbook information. There are special requirements for some online/hybrid courses. Please read the special requirements closely before registering an online/hybrid course.

For questions on the CONTENT of an online/hybrid class, contact the professor of the class.
