New London, based artist, Brad Guarino, has produced a series of work that explores the facade of masculinity and gender coding prevalent in contemporary culture. Guarino states, “The narratives created in my work employ humor and an implied sense of threat to emphasize the sometimes absurd preconception and behaviors that influence relationships between men.” Guarino has recently returned from a Fulbright Fellowship in Bulgaria where his works were exhibited at the European Cultural Center in Rousse, the Serdika Gallery and the Palace of Culture in Sophia.

The Pegasus Gallery is located on the first floor of Chapman Hall.
