Learning Module - Print or Save a Web-Based File

The following instructions apply to printing web-based files (e.g. .htm, .gif, .jpg) in a Learning Module (e.g labeled as Course Content, Assignments, Class Info, etc.) *

  1. Click a Learning Module such as Course Content. You will see two split windows. You may drag the vertical line between the two windows to have a better view of the left window. To access a file, you need to first click on the + sign next to a heading. The text with blue underline indicates it is clicable. So click on it, you will see the file on the right window.
  2. When you see the file displayed in the right window, click the Create Printable View icon print (upper right).
  3. Check files you would like to print. Click Continue button at the bottom of the page.
  4. To print the files, click Print button and select Print.
  5. To save the files, click Save to File button. Click Save. The saved file is in .zip format. You need to unzip the file in order to see the individual files. You may download Winzip application to unzip the file.

* For .pdf files, use the Print button on the Adobe Acrobat Toolbar . For non-web based files, download the file first and then print it in the corresponding application.
