What is Chat?

Chat in Blackboard allows people to have a real-time conversation by logging on at different locations during the same time period. To access it, click on the Chat icon in the Course Tools.

Your instructor may schedule a live chat session in a specific chat room. You can chat with students and the instructor in the specified room during a scheduled time period. Chat messages will be recorded and only the instructor can view the recorded chat scripts.
