You may send an mail directly to your instructor
or another student in your Blackboard class site.
1. Enter the mail tool by clicking the Mail icon,
or
located in Course Tools.
2. Click Create Message to open a new message window.
3. Click Browse for Recipients. By Default, 10 people are displayed in the mail recipient page. To increase number of people displayed, click on the Paging Reference icon, enter a number and click OK. When you see the person's name you would like to send the mail to, check the To box next to the person's name. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Save.
4. Enter the message subject in the Subject box.
5. Type the message in the Message box.
6. Click Preview if you would like to review the message prior to sending it.
7. When you are ready, click Send.
8. If you'd like to confirm that your message has been sent, click the Sent Mail folder. Seeing the message you just sent in the Sent Mail folder confirms that your message has been sent successfully.
