Content- Download, View, and Print a Non-Web Based File

These instructions apply to
non-web based files such as ".rtf", ".doc", ".ppt", ".xls", or ".mdb" files. You
may use the same instructions to download, view, and print web-based
files.
- Go to the Learning Module (e.g. Course Content), click a file title in the left split window (ex. .rtf file). You are asked to either Open or Save the file. Click Save.
- To better organize your files, you should create a class folder and save all class-related files in the folder.
- Click My Documents. Click the New Folder icon and give the folder a name. Double-click the folder. Click Save. Close the download window by clicking Close button.
- To open the file, minimize the WebCT window by clicking the "minimize" icon on the upper right corner.
- Double-click My Documents on the Desktop and double-click the file folder.
- Double-click the file to open it.
- To print the file, go to File, select "Print...".
- Click OK to confirm.
