Course Content (Learning Module)- View Files

View multimedia instruction

Class files are usually listed in the Learning Module labeled as Course Content, Assignments, Class Info, etc.

1. Click Course Content from the Homepage to enter the Table of Contents page
2. To view the file, click the file title in the left split window. For a web based file such as ".html", ".gif", or ".jpg" file, you see the file right away when you click the file title.

Tips

• In the Learning Module navigation bar, you may click Next Page to view the next file or click Previous Page button to view the previous file.
• For non-web based files such as ".pdf", ".rtf", ".doc", or ".ppt"file, when you click the file title, you will be asked either to Open or Save the file.
• When you select Open, the file is opened in WebCT window by its corresponding application. For example, a ".rtf" file is opened by MS Word.
• To know which application is needed to open a non-web based file, you may go to File Format and Its Applications in WebCT topic at this orientation site.

* If you don't see any files listed in the Course Content, you may check WebCT Mail, Calendar, or Discussions to see if your instructor has posted specific assignments. The Course Content might be named differently such as Class Files, Course Info, etc.
