The tool used to build an online exam, quiz, or test in WebCT is called Assessments. You can get to the Assessments on the Course Toolbar. Sometimes the Assessments are placed under More Tools.

1. On the Course Toolbar, click More Tools, select Assessments. You will see the list of quizzes or exams.
2. Click the exam you need to take. You will see the detailed information on this exam such as how long it takes to finish and when it is available. During the exam's available time period you will see Begin Assessment button.
3. When you are ready to take the exam, click Begin Assessment button. For a timed exam, as soon as you click Begin Assessment, the clock is running even if you log out of WebCT or turn off your computer.
4. Answer a question, click Save Answer. You can answer the questions in any order. You can also revise the answer and click Save Answer to update your answer.
5. After you have answered all the questions, click Finish. You will be prompted to confirm whether you want to submit the exam. Click OK to confirm.
