View multimedia instruction Discussions Setup
1. To enter the discussion board, click the Discussions icon
(located on the Course Toolbar at the upper right). The discussion window shows the discussion topics with number of total number of messages and unread (New) messages in a topic area.
2. When you click a discussion topic, you see a list of message threads with subject, Messages, Author, and Date column.
For a more organized view, you can see messages in a thread by clicking.
3. WhenUnread is in place, you see only the messages that you have not read. When
All is selected, you see all messages in this topic.
4. WhenThreaded is in place (the default setting), the messages are listed by threads (by conversation) with the most recent thread at the bottom. When
Unthreaded is selected, the messages are listed in chronological order (by time posted) with the most recent message at the bottom.
5. As default, there are up to 10 message threads listed in Messages page. To see more message threads, you may click a page number or the Next Page icon.
*A thread is a series of messages on a subject. A threaded view allows you to see the discussion topic, and all the related replies.
