Continuing Education & Workforce Development
Mission Statement
The Continuing Education & Community Services Division of Middlesex Community College is committed to excellence through the preservation and transmission of knowledge, as well as the generation of knowledge through creative expression. We want to help fulfill the otherwise unmet educational needs of our community as they are identified or anticipated, and provide accessible, affordable, high quality education by always keeping the learner's needs at the base of our decision-making.
In today's high performance organizations, employees must be prepared for continuous on-the-job growth and development. Having entered into the new Millennium, we are encountering change at every level of life - home, work, and recreation. In such a change-oriented world, lifelong learning and professional development are increasingly becoming essential parts of everyday life.
Our vision is to take the college to the community and be recognized as a valued and respected leader in providing continuing education. To achieve this, we must dedicate ourselves to honesty, openness and partnership. Our primary goal is to provide high quality instructional opportunities for adult learners in a variety of areas, ranging from professional development to personal self-improvement and life-enrichment courses.
Our mission is to link the college with people and businesses in our community so we can help everyone improve themselves, their businesses, our state, and our nation.
