Part-Time Lecturers (Adjunct Faculty)

The college is continually searching for applicants for potential part time teaching positions (day, evening and weekends).  If you would like to be considered for the MxCC adjunct applicant pool, please read and follow the Application Procedure above. For adjunct faculty (part-time lecturer) positions, the letter of intent should include the name(s) of the course or courses that you are interested in teaching.  The list of courses offered at Middlesex can be found at mxcc.edu/coursedescriptions

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for all teaching positions include a Master's degree in the discipline or a related field; two years of teaching experience in the discipline at the college level is preferred. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications as stated must put in writing precisely how their experience has prepared them for the responsibilities of the position.

Minimum Salary:
$1,335 per contact credit hour

Computer Science (CSC*101) Part-time Lecturer Openings

CSC*101 is an introductory course presenting the business uses of computer hardware and software.  Topics include the fundamentals of the Windows environment and use of popular business software using word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation applications.  Additional topics include e-mail communication, use of the Internet for communication and research, and an overview of web page design.  A Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other computer-related degree and teaching experience are required.  Please read the application procedure for part-time lecturers above.

Fall 2013, in any or all of the the following areas:  Pre-algebra and Numbers Sense; Pre-algebra/Elementary Algebra; Elementary Algebra Foundations; Intermediate Algebra; Elementary Statistics and Probability; Precalculus; or Calculus.
